Life Lessons Round 2

Blazer: LOFT. Sweater: LOFT. Blouse: Vintage. Trousers: LOFT. Necklace: H&M. Bracelet: F21. Purse: H&M. Shoes: GUESS.

When feeling sad, watch The Holiday. It is a fail-proof mood booster.

Do not keep your paper straws (or any paper products for that matter) in the cupboard directly above your gas stove. It can and will start a small fire (if you are a klutz like me).

If you can't figure out what to do with your hair and nothing is looking quite right, do your makeup first. It always makes a hairstyle look twice as good.

Get your pet's nails buffed, not clipped. Less scratchy and keeps the wicks short too.

Count your blessings.

Do not underestimate your baby's ability to climb and reach things, especially when you think it's the last thing they are capable of. The more unlikely you think it is, the more likely it will happen.

Always place the toilet paper with the roll pulling from the top, not the bottom.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...

Do fold your laundry just as you pull it out of the dryer. The more you put it off, the larger the heap will grow until it is threatening to eat you and everything in the room.

Comparison is the thief of joy.

Never pay full price for anything at Michaels or Jo-ann's. They have a coupon for everything.

Your parents are usually right, even if you would describe them as senile. Just listen to them already, would ya?

Animals make great head rests.

Trust your instincts. They are there for a reason.

If someone offers you a $100 to eat a wasabi ball the size of a ping pong ball, just do it. You can swallow it in its entirety without the faintest taste.

Great blog post. I love these ones in particular:

These are all very true and wise life lessons that we only learn through practice. Great outfit. Happy Friday.

Great post and awesome outfit. I only wish the temperatures here allowed for simple layering like this over here, it is so cold! :/

You look so gorgeous!

What a great post! The one that hits home to me the most is never underestimate your baby! The moment you think they can't climb that chair and stand on it...they will
Tomorrow!

This is by far your best outfit ever. I love everything about it. I totally watched The Holiday this week for the same reason. Such a cute movie.

I'm so in love with your necklace and your yellow purse! This post is pretty fantastic - I definitely agree with folding your laundry straight out of the dryer. :)

These are all so good - I definitely agree about doing my make up first... nothing ruins my hairstyle quicker than some under eye circles!
Loving your layering, pretty lady!
