Weekending

I live for weekends like this last one. A fourth of my enormously large family made the trek to the beach to see us and be a part of Wesley's baby blessing at our church. We celebrated birthdays, relaxed on the beach amidst a blazing bonfire, gabbed like mad, and simply enjoyed each other.

Solid, quality family time is always a recharger and soul booster for me. There are lots of a-holes and double-tongued people in this world, and I know I can always count on the ole' famdamily to keep it real (although sometimes that includes a-holeish behavior, but of the good and honest variety, if that makes any sense). Anyhow, I love these hooligans!

Now to get the rest of the bunch down here! Isn't living a skip, hop, and a jump from the ocean a good enough reason? ;)
