Hello, Utah

We took a mini vacation this last week to Utah. We soaked up some much needed R&R with family, watched hours of football, listened to General Conference, visited with friends, and fawned over Luke. All in the crisp, cool air that allowed me to bundle up in the sweaters and hats I've been pining to pull out from the dusty shelves in the top of the closet. In short, it was heaven.

Visiting my parents' home always gives me that kick of rejuvenation I need. There's nothing quite like hanging out with your mom and dad, no matter how old you are. Add a grandkid to the equation, and the joy is immeasurable. I am so happy Luke has bonded with his grandma and grandpa, and I loved watching them interact with him as they pointed out the similarities between Luke and I as a baby. Even if the similarity is being crazy noisy and constantly squawking.
