Where's Waldo...I Mean Abbey?

Today I lounged on the couch and watched Eclipse. I'm getting prepared for Breaking Dawn, duh! It was the perfect excuse. 

Everytime I watch Jacob's entrance scene, I can't help but to burst out in laughter. For realsies. Everything from the music, to the turning around in slow motion, to the black shmedium just kills me. It reminds me of a serious pick up line gone horribly wrong.

That being said, let's highlight a few the all-time greatest pick up lines:

"Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?"

"If I told you you had a nice body, would you hold it against me?"

"Hello. Are you taking any applications for a boy/girlfriend?"

"There is something wrong with my cell phone. It doesn't have your number in it."

"Hey... Didn't I see your name in the dictionary under 'Shazaam!'?"

"Excuse me, but does this smell like chloroform to you?"

(I know, this one is just wrong, but it's kinda funny)

"Wouldn't we look cute on a wedding cake together?"

"Hi. I'm Edward Cullen. Nuff' said."

I just need to let you all know that before the Mister was the Mister, he was a user (more like abuser) of pick up lines. 

I. Kid. You. Not. 

He once gave me a box of Hot Tamale candies that said, "You are one hot tamale" in an effort to get me to pay attention to him. I started paying attention to him, but it was more like being on the lookout for the guy in apartment #12 who wouldn't leave me alone. Haaa. 

And then we got married. The end.

Just kidding. Well, I'm not kidding about the story, but somewhere inbetween all that madness I realized he was a big ball of hunkiness and awesomeness that I just could not live without! I mean, how many guys do you know that are willing to put the time and energy into cheesy, little gifts? Probably your husband, which is precisely why you married him and which is why I married Matt.  Goodness, I love that man of mine!
