A Gramma And Grampa Weekend

 Is there anything better than having family in town? Methinks not. Let me just tell you that Luke loves his Gramma and Grampa. Ole' Gramps taught him to say "uh-oh" and now he is constantly babbling it.  Even the first words out of his mouth in the morning are "uh-oh", although I am fairly positive he thinks the word is synonymous with Grampa... if the shoes fits... ;)

Other things they have taught him? How to stomp real hard and good. If you follow me on Instagram, you saw a snippet of said stomping. We spent the weekend gallivanting around Coronado and Luke quickly assumed the position of king of the boardwalk at Hotel Del Coronado.

By the way, if you visit Coronado be sure to check out The Sand Castle Man. He sets up shop at the back of the hotel on the beach, and he even runs a website and everything. I went and chatted with him and he has been building sandcastles for over 27 years. What started out as a hobby with this kiddos turned into a profession (I think? His bucket of tips was overflowing and you can hire him for events supposedly). Where do I sign up?

Now I'm off to make the poofiest of pink tulle skirts you will ever see. My madre is a genius seamstress, so I am hoping to suck up some of her talent and skills.
