Day Tripper

Do you ever have those days where you are pining to blog about a million things all in the same post, but you can't because it would be random and you need to take it one day at a time? I feel like I am going to burst from the blog seams! I am just so stoked about all the things I am doing this week, I can feel some serious run-on sentences coming from all the excitement!

First, I got two pairs of ridiculously adorable flats and three crazy cute pairs of tights all for $28! Oh how I love thee, Target (saying it with the French pronunciation).

Second, I recently switched to a vegetarian diet. I am trying it out for a couple of months to cleanse my body, and to see if I can eventually phase into a plant-based diet (a.k.a. vegan, but I don't like using that word--it sounds pretentious to me for some reason). This article inspired me. I have so much more energy, I lost a couple of pounds already, and feel so healthy.

Third, today is my day off and I have a fabulous day all planned out! I will be shopping for a hiking trip I'm going on in May, getting a pedicure, hitting up some great vintage shops and my fave stores...but most importantly, I'm going to the Fashion Independent exhibition at the Phoenix Art Museum (EEEE!!!) I think I might just die of a heart palpatations from thinking about it!

The exhibit will be showing the iconic wardrobe of Ann Bonfoey Taylor. You envy Carrie Bradshaw's closet? Wait until you get a load of Ms. Taylor's wardrobe. The astonishing couture collection spans from the 50's to 70's, housing pieces from designers such as Balenciaga, Givenchy, and Charles James to name a few. This gallery is a recent addition, and I have been vying to go for a few months now!

I cannot wait to share with you my finds!

Have a splendid day!

(and remember to enter my giveaway!)

#1. I love Target. I got a pair of Mossimo jeans like two years ago for $10...Love Them!
#2. What a goal to have with the veggies!! I don't think I could ever do that. I have cut back on "junk" foods and processed stuff. But I have mid-western roots in me, and they far overshadow the SoCal roots when it comes to food.
#3. I will, fingers crossed, be returning to work soon!!! (stupid economy) and need lots of help in the fashion department, and you have so many great posts on clothing (and great prices!!)...I will have to send my hubby here for ideas, as he does my shopping for me. (I don't do shopping!!!!!!).

Aww I am the same, I sometimes have so many ideas that I have to reel myself back!!

I'm a vegetarian (for about 7 years) but don't think I could ever be a vegan - I rely on cheese too much! ;)

those flats are seriously cute! I'm sure you will be getting tons of millage out of them this summer - especially those cut outs, I bet they go with everything.

I adore those glitter flats- I think I may just have to get some for myself! That's fantastic that you're trying out this new vegetarian diet. I would do it though I find it so difficult at times- but it's such a great life style to take on!
Oh, and the exhibit sounds utterly amazing! ♥
