It's super bizarre. I haven't been tested, but I've been paying more attention to my body and noticed the difference.
Anyway, to answer about gluten-free foods/recipes. Have you heard of glutenfreegoddess.blogspot.com She has a bunch of really nice recipes, along with roostblog.com I have a few gluten-free recipes on my blog as well, but not nearly the number that the women who write for the previous two I mentioned.
You probably already know this, but I was reading in a Dr. Mercola article that gluten is also a reaction that occurs when specific food ingredients ( don't recall their funky names) are together, so just because something says "gluten-free" on the package doesn't necessarily mean it is. So, if you find yourself still experiencing symptoms after eating "gluten-free" foods, that might be something to consider.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00530731189525310511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1100477352537773060.post-61195337648506747192012-09-20T00:51:27.927-07:002012-09-20T00:51:27.927-07:00Yikes, that's not a fun change. But I think because gluten free options are becoming more available you may adjust more easily than you might expect once you get past missing certain things with gluten in it.

A close friend of mine suspected she had celiac disease but she was just sensitive to gluten food. She was fortunate to be close to someone who had the disease so she was able to get help getting adjusted. She also found blogs with all kind of recipes, so if that's what you're looking for, you can do just that! Pinterest may also be another good source for recipes.

I hope the adjustment isn't too difficult!p S h A o R t A ohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14136510837824429422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1100477352537773060.post-79219393313685607172012-09-19T20:10:31.872-07:002012-09-19T20:10:31.872-07:00Oh I'm so sorry! I've been gluten free now myself for over a year and it gets easier. I don't miss the old foods much anymore because I feel so much better! It isn't tempting to me because it made me so sick (no diagnosis for me but I know I am at least intolerant because it gives me joint pain and horrible digestive issues). I have a food blog with lots of gluten or grain free recipes. I hope they will help you out!kamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01036681846580798894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1100477352537773060.post-2456983727058910912012-09-14T13:08:09.930-07:002012-09-14T13:08:09.930-07:00I'm glad you have an answer for your health wo...I'm glad you have an answer for your health worries but change is hard.
I know this is a good site for lots of gluten ideas and she tries gluten free products and reviews them. It was a little pricey, but it broke me of sugar and carb addictions pretty fast. You'll learn it isn't too bad, there are great things you can have. My new favorite is a super healthy lettuce wrap recipe I found.
